Improving the Behaviour of Green Concrete Geopolymers Using Different HEMP Preservation Conditions (Fresh and Wet)

This paper evaluates a type of geopolymer concrete that uses hemp fibres as natural aggregate due to the various advantages offered by these woody materials. These include ease cultivation and processing their use in essential structure concretes used for green construction purposes. The sampling study was prepared using an environmentally friendly inorganic binder, based on geopolymerization reactions (Si-Na). improvement two different preservation methods (fresh wet) assessed. conservation enables anaerobic take place hemp, such way modify proportions organic compounds contained morphology fibres. It also encourages proliferation cellulose nanofibrils (CNC), which enhance mechanical results, improving plasticity thixotropy. hempcrete studied this could be good alternative material sustainable, construction, much less CO2 is emitted during production process comparison with conventional concrete. Using wet-preserved means water must added mix preparation helps reduce costs, extension, cost final product.
